Lead Business Analyst for the following business initiatives at UBC Faculty of Medicine:
– Define business need for a Faculty-Wide ePortfolio. Analysis and rationalisation of motivation and harmonisation of key requirements, across the Medical, Health Profession and Midwifery programmes, as a first step in developing a business-case for a Faculty-wide ePortfolio.
– Develop business case, manage vendor evaluation (RFI) and produce a formal recommendation for a replacement student-assessment management system. Rationalisation of business need and key requirements in response to change in the organisational context. Development of cost-neutral funding model for a three-year period.
– Development of business case and design and delivery of an innovative education solution for the MDUP Undergraduate program. The educational solution makes use of service based experiences in developing integrated abilities, through a process self-regulation. The solution impacts over 600 Medical Undergraduates across four distributed teaching sites in British Columbia.
Across these initiatives he consulted with cross-functional teams consisting of physicians, educators and administrators in Vancouver and across BC to clarify understanding and build commitment.
